- Tap Share (the square with an upward arrow).
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. If offered, keep Open as Web App enabled.
- Open Island Koala from your home screen and sign in.
A few useful things to know.
Do I need the App Store or Google Play?
No. Install Island Koala directly from your browser. You do not need the App Store or Google Play, and Island Koala is not listed in either store. Once installed, open it from your home screen.
Do I need to pay again on my phone?
No. Sign in with the same account. Your Premium access, conversations and vocabulary are shared across devices.
Does it work offline?
Island Koala needs an internet connection for conversations, feedback and audio.
Why is my microphone not working?
Allow microphone access when prompted. If you previously blocked it, allow microphone access for Island Koala in your browser or device settings, then reopen the app.
I cannot find the install option.
Use the button below. If your browser cannot open an installation prompt, it will show the steps for your device. On iPhone or iPad, installation is completed through the Share menu in Safari.
If you already installed it, look for the Island Koala icon on your home screen.
How do updates work?
Connect to the internet and reopen Island Koala to load updates. No separate app-store download is needed.
